We've only used it once, and it did a good job, but I don't have any input about durability over time yet.Would buy again. Bought this coffee grinder to grind spices, works really well. Is nice that the cord wraps up inside it, too many gadgets have the cord sticking out while being stored.
For the price, I'm not complaining. It's pretty clear that it will only grind a little coffee at a time, I can't see why that would affect the rating. I grind only enough grounds to drink immediately, (with a Keurig single serve machine) and this does a nice job. It's very quiet.
It also grinds faster for smaller amounts.I am very pleased with this grinder and would purchase again. This grinder is a bit easier to clean. I bought this particular grinder for grinding small amounts of flax seed. I typically do 2 tablespoons each morning and my other grinder (Capresso Cool Grind 501) is really better suited to larger amounts.
:) the price was cheap and the coffee tastes good. what can i say. it's a simple coffee grinder and does what it should.
I'm eyeballing my Proctor coffeepot right now. Garbage. burning smell.
Used it once a week. the blade slowed down and it smelled of burning. had it for 2 months.
Not just-bought wearing in burning, this was an overload, too many beans, I had enough I can't take it anymore, the hell with this coffee-grinder life, I'm out. PS is cheap stuff folks. Be careful overfilling it.
Last night it started to make a half-muted sound while vibrating a lot.
